Ear Infections, Terrorism & Obesity

These three terms have to be the most unlikely combination of maladies that can be put together in a single sentence, but yet they do have a connection- one provided by obesity itself.

Let us begin with ear infections.

U.S. scientists found a link between children who contract an affliction called recurrent otitis media and taste affecting nerves that are damaged in similar infections. Something as minor as infected tonsils could also affect the weight gain problems faced by certain people.

An advanced form of the infection mentioned above, otitis externa is already known to affect tendencies towards obesity due to its origin, which is in type II diabetes. So if you are a candidate for some weight loss training or a regime for a personalized diet in Los Angeles, it would do you good to inform your personal trainer is you are suffering from any of these conditions.

Across the Atlantic, health experts in Britain are warning the populace that the growing levels of obesity are akin to the threat posed to the nation by terrorism. While it is a bold statement to make, the NHS is worried that by 2025, the rate of people suffering from type II diabetes is going to double up.

Something to definitely worry about and make you gather up your exercise and weight loss personal training gear and head to Body Makeovers for some quick fitness checkups and your very own custom weight loss personal training regime.

The More Your Tots Grow, The Less Exercise They Get – New Study

Wonderful, just what parents need. As if the child and adolescent obesity problem wasn’t enough!

A study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association found that 15-year-olds got less than a third of the recommended level of exercise for their age. On the other hand, 90 percent of the children aged 9 and 11 met the recommended levels of exercise for their age.

This is serious reason to be alarmed parents, especially because once children slip into adolescence, they are less impressionable where instilling healthy weight habits are concerned. Considering that puberty is the main time for bones and muscles to achieve a solid growth, maintaining a healthy diet and exercise pattern for your child becomes even more imperative.

The federal issued Dietary Guidelines for Americans considers it essential that children and adolescents spend at least 60 minutes of physical activity for seven days a week. While this is no doubt going to help them establish a healthy weight loss and weight control pattern in their later years, it will surely help their developing bodies.

Do not ignore the rising threat of obesity parents, look for healthy weight loss diet and weight loss personal training options like the ones offered by Body Makeovers through the Children’s Program.

Body Makeovers – Naturally Healthy

Body Makeovers came across a snippet the other day which laid a lot of emphasis on the effect of exercise on physical health.

While such studies can be easily dismissed as old news, this particular study is very noteworthy. Researchers conducting the study had obese and overweight adults participating. The focus was on a three-month period of regular exercise without much change in the diet.

Post-3 months, they realized that there was a significant drop in weight and waist sizes of the participants.

Further study proved that along with a rise in the protein called brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), the individuals were observed to experience a fall in blood pressure. This resulted in them consuming fewer calories each day by default.

A very effective and healthy weight loss method I must say!

At Body Makeovers we understand the importance of keeping a healthy weight loss diet and personal training simple. Towards this end we have the 6 Week Body Makeover programme which has been proven to deliver spectacular results.

You won’t have to stay away from your favorite foods, because at Body Makeovers we will provide you with a personal weight loss trainer.

Give Michael Thurmond Body Makeovers a chance to serve you and experience the results yourself.

Body Makeovers Concern - Is Robbie Williams Letting Himself Go?

He once sizzled his way into millions of screaming, ballistic female hearts with his devilish dark looks and bad boy attitude. I could not imagine why the DJ in Rock DJ kept ignoring a man like Robbie Williams, even when he was in the buff!

But looking at recent pics of Williams, I wouldn’t fault her if she did the same now.

Thirty three year old Robbie has been looking terrible ever since he has taken time off from his singing career. Scruffy beard and shaggy hair top a torso that jiggles and looks like it has taken liberty with a lot of unhealthy food.

Body Makeovers believes he has given up exercising regularly and is not really paying any attention to healthy weight loss diets and workout routines that other singing sensations usually have to worry about. In the Daily Mail his friend commented, "He doesn't need to remain trim for any professional reason, so he's let himself go.”

From the size of his personal fortune £130 million, he has certainly made a mark for himself in the professional singing world. In a way, ten albums out in ten years warrants a break from it all.

But a little exercise and weight loss training wouldn’t hurt and would make a well-deserved vacation even more enjoyable. Body Makeovers is looking forward to the bad boy of British pop getting sexy back.

Disabled Children’s Weight Problems And Their Care:

Not many people know that Katie Price and Peter Andre, the attention loving couple have a 6 year-old son suffering from a disability. It’s understandable though as these two manage to grab any publicity opportunity by the scruff of its neck.

Little Harvey is autistic and also suffers from a rare disorder called septo-optic dysplasia which is known to cause partial or complete blindness, low muscle tone and hormonal problems. Children suffering from this condition are known to have learning difficulties and display mental retardation as well.

One of the characteristics observed in children suffering from septo-optic dysplasia is a poorly functioning pituitary gland. This can cause an obstruction in the production of the thyroid hormone which results in weight gain. Take a look at Katie-Price’s child and you can see that little Harvey faces this problem.

Body Makeovers thinks that the best way to deal with weight loss issues of such children is to consult a proper neurologist first instead of rushing in blindly for a diet and exercise plan.

Not everybody needs a weight loss personal training plan. Children facing septo-optic dysplasia problems need to be nurtured with care and understanding and have to be provided with special treatment. Which is why we laud Katie’s plans of moving to LA so that Harvey can get better treatment.

Got a weight loss problem you don’t know what to do about? Let Body Makeovers know so we can help you solve it.

Do You Send Your Kids To Fat Camp For A Healthy Weight Loss?:

If you have a son or a daughter who is obese, you might sympathize with Eric Cartman’s mom in the Season 4 episode of South Park- the US animated show about the foul-mouthed pre-teens. Cartman returns from fat camp 40 pounds lighter after his mother finally decides to do something about her overweight son.

But what actually does happen in fat camp? Do they have an exhausting weight loss training routine for young tots to lose weight? Or are they simply a commercialism trick for susceptible parents?

According to the director of the Children’s Exercise and Nutrition Center, “If you think the camp is going to solve the problem- the child will at long last lose weight and keep it that way- you can forget it.” But the many fat camps that have blossomed in the Western world and seem to proliferate during the summer months seem to prove this stand very wrong.

Body Makeovers feels that programs like fat camps and weight loss training regimes for kids could be a good way to get your child on the right track to staying healthy.

Consider our specialized Children’s Program. Ideal for children aged 14 years-old and above, the healthy weight loss diet and exercise routine successfully works on a diet Los Angeles and weight loss personal training plan that is chalked out by established dietitians.

At our California body makeovers facility, children are encouraged to embrace a healthier lifestyle and cultivate healthy eating habits even after the program is over.

People Shouldn’t Die Obese – Get Help From Body Makeovers:

The employees of Glebe Morgue in Sydney, Au, complained of injuries they could sustain from lifting and moving the bodies of dead people who are obese. The NSW government gets requests for forklifts, extra-large ambulances specially fitted with hydraulic lifts and the like to deal with the deaths of this group of people.

A forklift appeal from the government may sound peculiar, but there’s nothing funny about this story. It just highlights how much of a concern obesity and morbid obesity have become all over the world.

Healthy weight loss experts at Body Makeovers have been fighting this condition vehemently for decades. We know of studies that have found out how difficult it is for the morbidly obese to deal with hunger pangs and weight loss issues. At times breast cancer patients who are severely obese cannot be examined due to a lack of certain specially-adapted equipment.

Health, social and physical problems add more to a person’s obesity problems then layers of fat and to aid both, following a healthy weight loss diet and a weight loss personal training plan is requisite.

Body Makeovers are veterans at dealing with weight issues and finding solutions for it. Why don’t you check out the Los Angeles Extreme Makeovers cases that have benefited from our help and you can get an idea of what we are about.

Is Curvy Chloe Promoting Obesity?

You all must have heard about Chloe Marshall, the Miss England Contender by now. The fact that she is a size 16 did come across as a bit of a surprise to people all across the world who expect beauty pageant contestants to be slim, blonde and with sufficient curves that look enhanced but are defended as ‘natural’.

Various groups have targeted this beautiful brunette who’s quite a traffic stopper in her own way, of promoting obesity. But the gorgeous Chloe seems to be anything but that. Personally I feel it takes a lot of guts to go up there and stand among women who look like they have popped out of a perfect mold.

Chloe apparently did not feel the need to go the extra mile to lose all of her excess weight because she loves her body and is happy with it and the way she looks. She also exercises enough to keep her fit and does a bit of weight lifting as well. No sign of promoting obesity so far.

Obesity, along with being a physical condition of the body is also a way of thinking. But there is a fine line between delusion and belief that defines when a condition becomes a problem. Chloe says, "What I am promoting is a healthy girl who looks after herself and doesn't try to force her body to be something its not." The girl obviously has no delusions about her body!

At Body Makeover Systems, we help people who are obese and are certain of the problems it poses. Weight loss personal training programs range from Nutrition Only programs to an all-round Athletic Body Makeover. Book an appointment with us today.

How To Know You Are Overweight:

Annie Hathaway has been told she’s too fat for a role, Kirstie Alley has been religiously losing weight and gaining weight, and the same goes for Beyonce. Among the men Vince Vaughn, John Travolta and the once suave Matthew Perry are contenders for the battle of the bulges.

Looking at most of these people it is difficult to imagine how someone like Beyonce or Annie Hathaway can even be called overweight. Most people think someone who is bulging from most angles, like Rosie O'Donnell or Michael Moore would be people who you could probably call overweight or obese.

There are numerous methods to determine if a person is overweight, the most common one being the BMI or Body Mass Index method. Incidentally, the BMI method can categorize a person as healthy but yet overweight. When the BMI of an individual aged 20 and above equals or is greater than 19, the person can be termed as healthy.

When the BMI equals or is greater than 30, the person can be defined as being obese, which poses more of a health risk than a healthy body. An overweight or obese body can be conquered though.

A healthy weight loss routine like the ones formulated at Body Makeover Systems is actually a combination of a nutritiously healthy weight loss diet and weight loss personal training exercises. For those fighting a losing battle against obesity and unhealthy excess weight take an appointment with us at Body Makeover Systems.
