High Heels And Why They Hamper A Healthy Body:

OMG! Have you seen the pair of five inch heels Gwyneth Paltrow donned for the charity screening of Iron Man at the Odeon in London? They are just to die for! She has displayed an amazing sense of style and a fabulous body makeover ever since she started promoting her new flick Iron Man.

But keeping aside the glamour quotient and speaking a bit more sanely, how great exactly are these high heels for the body? Especially as Gwynny baby was spotted getting out of a back specialist’s clinic as well.

If like Gwyneth you too love to wear heels that tower 7 inches, you could be in big trouble in a lot of places south of your torso. More specific targets that are affected are the knees, ankles and feet. A decade of religiously wearing high heels might also result in a problem known as osteoarthritis.

Podiatrists state very emphatically that the sexy curves high heels lend a person’s legs are not an anatomical position to be in. Regular sized women however, perhaps have less to fear from these problems than overweight or obese women.

While I’m not saying that in order to wear high heels you should have a weight loss training plan, it sure sounds like a nice incentive. But alas, wish it were that easy! The loveliest things in life usually come with a hu-uge price tag attached. Healthy heels have to be square-toed shoes that have one-half to three quarters of an inch. (Check out my shoe quiz result below!)

At Body Makeovers we can still get you looking as glam and in better shape than Gwyneth Paltrow. Just look at how we transformed our clients with our Six Week Body Makeover!

Weight Loss Alert - Lose Weight In Prison:

Its only A-listers that get preferential treatment in jails and while Pete Doherty may not exactly pass off for an AL, he sure seems to be treated so.

Worldwide, the prison atmosphere is known to be a very tough place to be in, for convicted men as well as women. Movies like Bad Boys and Chicago barely cover the real thing going on in penitentiaries.

And now, inmate of an Arkansas penitentiary is doing something about his suffering of ‘prison torture’ and raising his voice against it. Broderick Laswell’s case is unusual though – he is suing for losing weight.

When imprisoned, Laswell was overweight at 29 stone. After spending 8 months in the prison, the alleged murderer has lost 7 stone and accuses the prison for not providing inmates with enough food.

A stranger story I have never heard!

But Laswell’s conditioned was compounded further by a lack of exercise which he claimed was also to blame for his weight loss.

Whatever may be the case, a prison is not really one of the dandiest places to go to for losing weight. Body Makeovers present a better option – at the Santa Monica Spa Body Makeover.

From charming lodgings to relaxing exercises and controllable diet Los Angeles, we make sure you have the very best in healthy weight loss.

People Shouldn’t Die Obese – Get Help From Body Makeovers:

The employees of Glebe Morgue in Sydney, Au, complained of injuries they could sustain from lifting and moving the bodies of dead people who are obese. The NSW government gets requests for forklifts, extra-large ambulances specially fitted with hydraulic lifts and the like to deal with the deaths of this group of people.

A forklift appeal from the government may sound peculiar, but there’s nothing funny about this story. It just highlights how much of a concern obesity and morbid obesity have become all over the world.

Healthy weight loss experts at Body Makeovers have been fighting this condition vehemently for decades. We know of studies that have found out how difficult it is for the morbidly obese to deal with hunger pangs and weight loss issues. At times breast cancer patients who are severely obese cannot be examined due to a lack of certain specially-adapted equipment.

Health, social and physical problems add more to a person’s obesity problems then layers of fat and to aid both, following a healthy weight loss diet and a weight loss personal training plan is requisite.

Body Makeovers are veterans at dealing with weight issues and finding solutions for it. Why don’t you check out the Los Angeles Extreme Makeovers cases that have benefited from our help and you can get an idea of what we are about.

Hypnosis, Work And Lily Allen’s Other Weighty Issues:

Lily Allen is decidedly bizarre. The 22 year-old has been a veritable ping pong ball where weight is concerned. One moment she looks all washed out and peaky and the next she’s all healthy blonde.

Her weight loss and exercise plans also range from the unusual to the weird. Currently her healthy weight loss exercise option includes weight loss through hypnosis. But then nothing this Smile singer does or says can be left at just that- she blames the stress surrounding her new chat show to be one the main reasons why she has gained weight.

Dietitians and weight loss personal training experts consider stress to be a stimulant for weight fluctuations as it is difficult to maintain a healthy diet when an individual is under stress. This has something to do with the hormone Cortisol, an excess level of which makes a person put on weight. It also determines where exactly the pounds need to pile up in the human body.

Lily Allen could be an example of the health issues that tag along when a person stresses too much. The best way to tackle this detriment to healthy weight loss is to engage in a relaxing hobby.

Even better, enroll yourself for a short trip to Santa Monica body makeover programs conducted by Body Makeover Systems. The Spa body makeover package especially is sure to floor you with awesome relaxing options. You’ll certainly look better than Lily Allen after you get done with it!

Healthy Workouts For The Stressed Mom:

Jill Le Clair, a single parent, is in her mid-forties and was a size 16 for 5 tumultuous years. Life post-divorce was tough for her made her take a decision to get past the skepticism she felt for weight loss training and healthy weight loss diets and get to grips with her individuality.

When she got in touch with Body Makeovers she looked like a woman who had stopped thinking about herself. After following the healthy weight loss diet and the weight loss personal training plan chalked out for her, she was a graceful and well-turned-out size 3 mother.

Jill lost out a whopping 60 lbs off her lumpy frame thanks to the extremely helpful weight loss training program devised by Body Makeovers. A look at her testimonial photograph and you can easily imagine her as one of the immaculately groomed and very fit Desperate Housewives.

But thankfully, Jill no longer has anything to feel desperate about. No unwanted stress and no unhealthy weight. Special Mommy Makeover packages at Body Makeovers emphasize the need for nutritious food and exercises that do not take the life out of working moms who have to be there for their families as well.

When Mommy Works Out In The Moonlight:

Guess which mommy does that? Out very own Jenny from the block! Yep, the new blooming mom of twins does a heave and a ho in the middle of the night; and all to get rid of her mommy flab.

Now that would be a sight to see, Jennifer Lopez sweating it out when her kiddies and hubby are snoring away in dreamland. Carrying twins can be very taxing for a woman and the amount of weight gained during pregnancy can be a lot. Jenny herself gained about 50 pounds during her pregnancy.

Not many women would think about getting back in shape soon after child-birth and certainly fewer women would fling themselves into a diet and exercise routine
as rigorous as Latino pop’s prime diva.

Healthy weight loss has to be the main objective of any woman who has just delivered and an intake of nutritious food should not be hampered by a weight loss diet. Planning your post-delivery healthy weight loss diet and weight loss personal training before you deliver is a good idea and Jennifer thinks so as well (she spent her last month planning it all!).

Get hold of a personal trainer who can work out a fitness routine for you or weight loss training experts with an experience in dealing with moms. Incidentally and luckily for you, both are available at Body Makeovers. Click any of our links to know more about who we are.

Trip-unhappy In High Heels? Get In Shape:

Okay, repeat after me, “high heels are great, high heels are sexy”.

What? Can’t do that? No problem, Eva Longoria finds them problematic as well. She tripped in her Christian Louboutin wedges! But then, the petite actress would trip in flip flops as well (she admits she is clumsy).

On the flip side, one star who struts her stuff rather confidently in a sky-high pair of high heels is singer Mariah Carey who claims she simply cannot walk on flat shoes. High heels are every woman’s best friends, or at least those who face a shortcoming when it comes to height.

This season’s hot new style of heels comes in a towering measure of six inches. Gasp all you want, but some women would actually fight tooth and nail for a pair of these shoes, not as much for wearing them as to be seen in them.

High heels have been at a cross with many health groups and not to mention women who have seen more than their share of bunions, blisters, corns, hammertoes, muscle sprains and what-not. For people who are a bit bulky or fat, wearing heels can be a real strain.

Which is why those who are reasonably fit or maintain an exercise or workout routine that allows for a margin of fitness are ones who are better suited to walk around in a pair of heels. Spring back in step with Body Makeovers, dietitians and exercise specialists who have been in the healthy weight loss business for more than two decades.

Healthy Cocktails And Healthy Weight Loss:

Mixtures that don’t give you a hangover the next day, drinks that taste like a tropical explosion and colors that are enough to spice up your evenings, healthy cocktails are set to take over the impending summer once again. These ‘natural’ drinks are chock-full with ingredients like purees, vitamin-rich sports drinks, seeds and herbal extracts.

The great thing about these healthy cocktails is the use of purees and pulps which provide the fiber requirement and fare better on the digestion. For those focusing on a healthy weight loss diet, the presence of antioxidants and natural sweeteners like honey and agave nectar in these cocktails will be a refreshing change.

Diet specialists claim that some cocktails are as fattening as a Big Mac due to the calories present in alcohol and in some of the mixers used. These healthy cocktails may not be on top of the list of healthy things to drink, but they are certainly closer than the rest of the options available.

It’s interesting, the small ways in which people can fulfill their healthy weight loss dreams. Controlling weight issues and maintaining a healthy outlook towards it is so very important, especially if you have a hectic lifestyle. If you want to redouble your efforts with quick, long-lasting results, Body Makeovers is the place for you.

Dee-lish Bodies – Mariah Carey:

Mariah Carey might be the arch-typical diva but boy, you have to admit, the woman has a body that will make you excuse just about any tantrum she throws! After the recent weight loss she has had, she seems set to sizzle the sales of her new album.

One thing you have to say for this golden-voiced singer, losing 30 pounds has done nothing to her sexy curves. Healthy weight loss at its best I say! Her bust still is very buxom (though that might have something to do with plastic surgery), her hips, waist, legs and even her cheeks all have the requisite amount of fat that’s hot enough to look cool.

So how does she do it? In her exercise DVD, Mariah plans on letting in on her healthy weight loss diet and her weight loss training routine. From what I’ve heard though she loves her dish of macaroni and cheese, she swears by a water workout.

Water exercises offer a good weight loss and exercise option for those looking for a non-shock alternative to working out. For her weight loss personal training sessions, Mariah flies in her personal trainer Patricia Gay all the way from St. Barts and works out with her by her pool.

Feel like a diva-style workout for less? Step in at Body Makeovers.

An Overdose Of Over-zealous Weight Loss:

Way back in 2006 Nicole Ritchie had gone terrifyingly thin courtesy a herb known as Hoodia which deludes your brain into thinking you are constantly full and thus curbing hunger pangs. Ritchie went from a size 2 to 0 in no time and looked absolutely skinny.

A lot of people in the glamor and beauty business have dabbled in diet pills and weight loss pills from time to time. Some have gone critically ill and some have even died from an overdose. But that doesn’t stop thousands of others from resorting to similar weight loss methods.

The most recent entrant into this possibly unhealthy habit is the diet pill alli, touted as the first and only FDA approved over-the-counter weight loss product. The pill website claims that if taken responsibly (by following the plan laid out) alli can increase weight loss by 50 percent.

But it’s important to wait and take stock of diet drugs and supplements like alli and evaluate their possible side-effects. As a healthy weight loss method, alli falls short since it causes diarrhea whenever rich food is consumed.

To their credit, the manufacturers of the drug press people to use the drug as a supplement to a healthy weight loss diet that is calorie-controlled. Maintaining a regular exercise plan also helps.

There’s no doubt about it, diet supplements and weight loss drugs are only as good as the effort put into healthy weight loss. If you follow a fixed exercise plan and a healthy weight loss diet, there is no need to spend any more money on OTC drugs that promise less.
