Body Makeovers Concern - Is Robbie Williams Letting Himself Go?

He once sizzled his way into millions of screaming, ballistic female hearts with his devilish dark looks and bad boy attitude. I could not imagine why the DJ in Rock DJ kept ignoring a man like Robbie Williams, even when he was in the buff!

But looking at recent pics of Williams, I wouldn’t fault her if she did the same now.

Thirty three year old Robbie has been looking terrible ever since he has taken time off from his singing career. Scruffy beard and shaggy hair top a torso that jiggles and looks like it has taken liberty with a lot of unhealthy food.

Body Makeovers believes he has given up exercising regularly and is not really paying any attention to healthy weight loss diets and workout routines that other singing sensations usually have to worry about. In the Daily Mail his friend commented, "He doesn't need to remain trim for any professional reason, so he's let himself go.”

From the size of his personal fortune £130 million, he has certainly made a mark for himself in the professional singing world. In a way, ten albums out in ten years warrants a break from it all.

But a little exercise and weight loss training wouldn’t hurt and would make a well-deserved vacation even more enjoyable. Body Makeovers is looking forward to the bad boy of British pop getting sexy back.

Ready To Kick Gladiator A* - Body Makeovers Style:

Season 2 of American Gladiators is going to air on NBC tomorrow and I can’t wait to see all those muscles in their tanned, bulging glory!

The official website claims the show “celebrates the everyday, true American heroes -- weekend warriors who excel and take pride in their physical fitness. These contestants will go up against the show's gladiators -- charismatic and eclectic warriors -- in the ultimate David & Goliath battle.”

This show is a fitness enthusiast’s and wannabe weightlifter’s dream come true, but I love watching it for the sense of health and pure brawn power the gladiators seem to exude. Of course names like Venom, Rocket, Crush and Titan are an added kick (hey, we all have our quirky pleasures!).

For Body Makeovers, American Gladiators is a show that celebrates the healthy body at its best. It reminds us a bit of our favorite reality show Extreme Makeovers, the panel of which had our very own Michael Thurmond.

Healthy weight loss and an awesome body makeover plan were some of the main motivations that got the participants looking their best after a couple of workouts with the Extreme Makeover experts.

Drop by Santa Monica body makeovers for some very amazing weight loss personal training and exercise plans. We love to see people who want to take care of their body but for some reason or another cannot.

Disabled Children’s Weight Problems And Their Care:

Not many people know that Katie Price and Peter Andre, the attention loving couple have a 6 year-old son suffering from a disability. It’s understandable though as these two manage to grab any publicity opportunity by the scruff of its neck.

Little Harvey is autistic and also suffers from a rare disorder called septo-optic dysplasia which is known to cause partial or complete blindness, low muscle tone and hormonal problems. Children suffering from this condition are known to have learning difficulties and display mental retardation as well.

One of the characteristics observed in children suffering from septo-optic dysplasia is a poorly functioning pituitary gland. This can cause an obstruction in the production of the thyroid hormone which results in weight gain. Take a look at Katie-Price’s child and you can see that little Harvey faces this problem.

Body Makeovers thinks that the best way to deal with weight loss issues of such children is to consult a proper neurologist first instead of rushing in blindly for a diet and exercise plan.

Not everybody needs a weight loss personal training plan. Children facing septo-optic dysplasia problems need to be nurtured with care and understanding and have to be provided with special treatment. Which is why we laud Katie’s plans of moving to LA so that Harvey can get better treatment.

Got a weight loss problem you don’t know what to do about? Let Body Makeovers know so we can help you solve it.

Will Smith – The Hollywood Heavyweight Body Makeovers Loves:

We all loved him as the funny (and hunky) sidekick to Tommy Lee Jones in Men in Black and sighed over the alien-busting arms he flexed in Independence Day. I quite liked his intense portrayal of the boxing champion Muhammed Ali in the movie Ali as well.

And then he got the women falling for him all over again as the suave matchmaker in Hitch. He just got awarded the Best Male Performance award for his role in I Am Legend and Body Makeovers couldn’t be less ecstatic for the easygoing actor who has smoothly wriggled his way into millions of womanly hearts!

Will Smith has come of age (as an actor I mean) and over the years he has kept himself in marvelous shape. Of course his choice of movies is undoubtedly a major part of his healthy weight loss secret.

For instance, Ali had Will working out at least 6 hours a day in a 5 days week and relied heavily on a boxing routine and running. His personal trainer made him follow a weight loss training plan that brought his weight to 220 lbs. for the role of the boxing champion.

The actor admits that he finds it tougher to put on weight rather than losing it and that Ali took a lot of effort to prepare. For his latest I Am Legend though he did not have to worry much because of the stable metabolism his body maintained after movies like I Robot and Ali.

Want a workout plan that will give you a body like Will’s to flaunt? Visit the personal trainer in Los Angeles at Body Makeovers.

Feliz Cinco De Mayo From Body Makoevers!:

It’s time to celebrate all things Mexican!

Serenading mariachis, intoxicating tequilas, yummy nachos and colorful skirts twirled in dance, the festival of Cinco de Mayo is Mexican exuberance at its finest! For a fiesta that commemorates the Mexican military’s victory over the French army, things couldn’t get more enjoyable.

Body Makeovers came across this wonderful collection of recipes that’ll make your mouths and eyes water! Mexican food is known for its intense flavors and is considered to have originated in the kitchens of the nation’s Mayan ancestors. Corn tortillas served with bean dips were as much popular then as they are now.

The famous Mexican salsa (the dip, not the dance) too was well known in the time of the Aztecs that populated the area a long time ago. Spanish and Portuguese influences have also found their way into the Mexican palate and have yielded some classics using tomatillo, ceviche, chili peppers, etc.

But can you include Mexican food in your healthy diet plan?

Expert dietitians agree that while Mexican-American cuisine can go a tad heavy on the stomach, traditional Mexican food is nutrient-rich and quite healthy.

Consider this: a Nachos Belle Grande at your local Taco bell will have 39 gms of fat and 760 calories. On the other hand a traditional Poc Chuc will usually contain 8 gms of fat and approximately 230 calories.

Just goes to show, junk food always loses out to wholesome, cooked food.

Check out the Body Makeovers Original Six Week Diet program if your diet consists of junk Mexican-American food. Healthy weight loss begins here.

National Hamburger Month – Should You Get Into The Spirit?:

Wimpy and Jughead must be eating their hearts out every May in honor of National Hamburger Month. While this food item had its origins in the town of Hamburg in Germany, the Americans have made eating hamburgers something of a national pastime.

In a country that consumed at least 11.9 billion burgers in 2007 alone, it would come as no surprise that 85 percent of them consume burgers every month. But how many of these Americans are making a healthy diet decision when they chomp one all-American hamburger?

One of the major components of a hamburger is the beef in it, which if served ground and undercooked is known to cause a form of poisoning known as hamburger disease. Besides, red meat has also been linked to heart disease, not to mention the high amounts of potentially harmful cholesterol (38 mg) and fat (9 g) content found in the average burger.

Body Makeovers frequently hears stories from clients that were partial to hamburgers and as a result bloated up enormously. The healthy diet Los Angeles was thus formulated by our team of dietitians which took care of the healthy weight loss diet of such individuals.

The best part about our weight loss training plan however lies in the fact that the food we serve suits the individual tastes of our clients. We do not tell you to consume food that you may not like.

Why don’t you take an appointment with spa body makeovers and we’ll help you get over National Hamburger Month effortlessly!

Do You Send Your Kids To Fat Camp For A Healthy Weight Loss?:

If you have a son or a daughter who is obese, you might sympathize with Eric Cartman’s mom in the Season 4 episode of South Park- the US animated show about the foul-mouthed pre-teens. Cartman returns from fat camp 40 pounds lighter after his mother finally decides to do something about her overweight son.

But what actually does happen in fat camp? Do they have an exhausting weight loss training routine for young tots to lose weight? Or are they simply a commercialism trick for susceptible parents?

According to the director of the Children’s Exercise and Nutrition Center, “If you think the camp is going to solve the problem- the child will at long last lose weight and keep it that way- you can forget it.” But the many fat camps that have blossomed in the Western world and seem to proliferate during the summer months seem to prove this stand very wrong.

Body Makeovers feels that programs like fat camps and weight loss training regimes for kids could be a good way to get your child on the right track to staying healthy.

Consider our specialized Children’s Program. Ideal for children aged 14 years-old and above, the healthy weight loss diet and exercise routine successfully works on a diet Los Angeles and weight loss personal training plan that is chalked out by established dietitians.

At our California body makeovers facility, children are encouraged to embrace a healthier lifestyle and cultivate healthy eating habits even after the program is over.

Britney Spears – Revamped Mom, Exercise Junkie, Revamped Life:

I’m impressed. I’m very impressed. This must be the biggest turnaround of the century!

Britney Spears, style fiasco and rehab addict has made time in her trouble-besotted life for the gym and boy, is she glowing! Just about everybody remembers the (un) dazzling costume she wore at the MTV Video Music Awards last year.

And then there are those infamous pictures of her either going braless or else wearing incandescent ones. A lot of people gave up hope on her based on all her antics.

The change began trickling in however, after she appeared in a spot on How I Met your Mother. I was amazed by the transformation because she looked so sweet and healthy, two words that couldn’t be associated with Britney Spears.

And now she is reclaiming her body through some healthy exercise and weight loss training at a gym in Los Angeles. A healthy weight loss diet too seems to be on her agenda as she has dropped out of the social and party circuit lately.

It sure is warming to see so much good change in someone so prone to bad luck. A body makeover Los Angeles could be just the thing to propel the 26 year-old singer’s career back on track. Time to say, hit me baby one more time!

Visit Body Makeovers for your very own personalized body makeover California.

Tight Dresses + Fit Body = Sexy? Not Necessarily:

Okay, I think Alicia Keys is one of the best R n B singers around and regardless, has managed to be very unassuming about herself so far. But her choice of dress for the Late Night Show with David Letterman was so not cool! It made her body look very distorted and made her look downright uncomfortable.

At 27 years, Alicia is an established artist and her respect for the female body shows; she told an Australian magazine, “I think a woman is so much her curves and her many styles. We come in all packages. We are who we are and I definitely don’t like it when young girls feels like they have to totally starve themselves. I think it’s not attractive either, actually.”

Way to go Alicia!

One of the first things Body Makeovers remembers to mention to clients is that they are unique with unique needs. This philosophy compels us to provide a customized experience for each of them, which makes the entire weight loss personal training experience enjoyable.

Society may tell you that a sexy body is the result of the clothes you wear and how you wear them. But personally, we don’t think so. Taking care of your body is one of the best ways to feel good about yourself.

Confidence in yourself tends to permeate those around you. Why don’t you drop over at Santa Monica Body Makeover, we’ll help you get back that confidence.
